It's COLD!

This is a picture from yesterday AFTER they had broken up the morning ice and it had warmed up a bit. This morning it was 11 degree outside when I got up and 64 in the cabin. Fortunately, the Espar heater is working just fine and within about 45 minutes of turning it on the cabin was up to 75, so we are toasty warm now. But I sure not anxious to leave the boat to go workout, our usual Monday morning activity.

Only two months to go before we are off to Krabi and much, much warmer temperatures. It should be a real shock in so many ways to what life has been like for us. The biggest headache has been the paperwork and logistics of getting Chewy and Poco to Thailand but thanks to Dusty perseverance we found an airline that will let us take them in the cabin with us all the way. We just have to fly into Phuket instead of Krabi but that not a big hardship except that we get in about midnight and I think it is at least an hours drive to Krabi from Phuket. Athan and Sakorn have relatives in Phuket, so who knows, maybe we will stay with them for the night. I'm sure we won't care by the time we get there.
